Fuck of you prick

Well said
+1

How you can shoehorn Ashley Young into a David Silva thread amazes me....falling over was the only thing that little runt was good at. For someone who takes so much stick every game, our David stays on his feet so well most of the time. So I agree with my learned posters above.

absolutely terrible to risk him in that game especially with 2-3 huge games in the next week or so

very very poor management

Re: Silva injury confirmed - 3-4 weeks out (pg 23)

I think Pellers was reminded of that fateful evening in 1975 when Tony Book took the incredibly rash decision to risk the best English player of his day, Colin Bell, in an actual football match - against Manchester United, in a league cup match of all things! The gamble backfired in double quick time when Bell was injured seriously following a tackle by Martin Buchan. The tackle effectively ended Bell's career, despite two attempted come backs, but manager Tony Book received no death threats, was able to walk openly without fear of lynching or assault as many City fans were pleased with the 4-0 victory. Book was not even disturbed by wailing, weeping mobs with their ceaseless incantation of "why did you play him, why did you play him..." City fans were even more delighted when they lifted the trophy at Wembley in February the following year. No-one argued that he should not have played Bell.

Last season, almost a year to the day, we played Newcastle away in the League Cup one week before we played Bayern Munich. And guess who played for an hour?

I'm pretty sure it was CSKA. We played newcastle, then Norwich at home, then CSKA

Only remember cos I was in Fuerteventura and watched all three in the boozer
