Silva back in training (page 40)

Re: Silva injury confirmed - 3-4 weeks out (pg 23)

Not very optimistic with upcoming games. Just hope we wont say after those games that with Silva playing we could have won those games.
At least in the derby there cannot be excuses for lacking motivation, fight, desire so it comes as a blessing in disguise maybe.

Blessing for Nasri this. He is twice the player when he doesn't play with Silva

Hopefully this will put to bed those who moan about rotation.

I wonder whether we shouldn't just fuck the Capitol One cup off completely and play a total second string team? We've got bigger fish to fry and it's just not worth risking an injury to a key player.

Really I know we have won the champions league for the last 5 years but am not so sure

Yeah, because winning it last season was so shit.

Yeah, I didn't believe it either until I had an argument with BillyShears about it and dug through the previous records. Every time Nasri has great games and great runs of form, Silva is generally either not on the pitch or not in the game at all

Nasri will take a while to get up to speed though. He looked well off the pace against Newcastle.

Completely agree with Damocles on this one.
Nasri seems inhibited when Silva is on the pitch at the same time.
They both tend to want to run the game.
Also makes our midfield more solid defensively when only one of the two playing and works better against stronger teams.
I fear tomorrow's derby may just come a week or two too early in Nasri's recovery. Too many writing off Nasri in this forum imho...

FFS; you could say that about all 11 of the comedians that night!
