Silva back in training (page 40)

Re: Silva injury confirmed - 3-4 weeks out (pg 23)

Saw Silva doing some 1-to-1 training at CFA today. Seemed to be moving OK, but the fact he was having an individual session rather than training with the whole group suggests he's unlikely to be fit for Wednesday. Not that I'm a doctor or owt.

Bad, bad, bad news with all the other absentees. Might make this game a bridge too far, regardless of our fighting spirit.

I'm seeing it as glass half full...might raise the Dunkirk spirit...backs to the wall and all that ;-)

Cheer up! He might make the bench, if so required. No point risking him in contact training today, was there?

Weren't we decimated when we won at Bayern last year? No point killing ourselves for Roma now, if we win we win. It's all the December league games must be No1 priority.

If we have to play without Kompany, Silva, Ya Ya and Sergio it will be the most depleted City side in the Mansour era. Usually when we play a weakened team we keep a core of our class players. They are our class players!

I'm not giving it up, and I totally agree that it's great news that the league is within sniffing distance. I won't be too devastated if we go out, but for morale it would be great to go through.

Ha, quite possibly - I would've said hello if I knew what you looked like!

Sounds more promising on Silva today, anyway:

Simon Bajkowski @spbajko

Silva running about like a hare in the other group too. Keen
