If he is out, then I can fully see Dzeko/Kun starting in front of Navas, Nasri. Even that team IMO will murder Arsenal in their current form.
Do you think he'll risk Kun from the start?

I don't know if I'm honest. Problem is it's either Kun or Jovetic and fitness is an issue for both of them. Wonder if he'll play Garcia and push Yaya into the advanced role. That's also an option.

The important thing is we do have options and as much as losing Silva is always a blow, we have enough quality that it shouldn't disrupt our plans too much. Remember Arsenal go into the game without Ramsey and Wilshere.
Kun's not being doing full intensity training yet as far as I know Billy so I doubt he'll start.

If Silva doesnt play, which personally i very much doubt, then your correct, i can see Toure being pushed up to play a silva-esque role which he did so effectively against the Rags.

Garcia - Fern
Navas - Toure - Nasri
Aguero/Dzeko

(Aguero either starts and comes off at 60 mins, or Dzeko starts and Aguero comes on at 60)

Lots of options.

Arsenal are vulnerable to be hit hard and fast when they (frequently) lose the ball. Milner will fill in easily.

I'm going to refuse to believe he isn't playing until the lineup is announced. Huge blow if he's missing for this game but like others have said we are still good enough to beat Arsenal without him.

Also it depends what it is. If it IS a knock then he should be able to play with painkillers and then have a whole week rest. If it's a strain or pull that's something different obviously.

Re: Silva major doubt for Arsenal

It's not ideal, but I'd still be confident with this;

----------GARCIA-----FERNANDINHO

-----NAVAS------YAYA----------NASRI

--------------------DZEKO----------------

Not a bad shout but Milner in place of who? I would't play him ahead of Navas or Nasri, and I wouldn't play him in the middle with Fernandinho to push Yaya forward.

In Nasri's usual position on the left, he seems more effective there these days than he does on the right side, Leave Yaya in the centre to dominate midfield with the option of bringing Garcia of the bench to shift tactics and push him further forward later in the game if needed and shift Nasri centrally to take on the no.10 role in Silva's place.

Very very very good shout. I like that idea a lot.

Re: Silva major doubt for Arsenal

Even if he's out we would get away with playing

.........Fern - Toure

Navas.......Nasri......Milner

.............Dzeko

Milner and Jesus to stretch out the spin of their team and creat space for Nasri to do his bit in the hole! Dzeko in good form more than likely to get a couple chances which at the moment he doesn't look like missing. Then you've got Fern and Toure that should be able to put up with arsenals mobility in the middle.
