Silva out of Liverpool game?

Hopefully Silva will recover and either Mario or Edin are available, if not I think Trev has nailed it with the best line-up. I'd love to see the kid suarez get some gametime, he's like a young Silva.

So it looks like the best possible team we can field tomorrow is:

.........................Aguero...........................
Nasri.............................................Johnson
..........................Milner............................
................Barry.............De Jong...............

Clichy........Lescott.........Savic.........Richards

...........................Hart.............................

Bench:
Pantilimon
Kolarov
Zab
Razak
Hargreaves
Roman
Suarez

That's worse case scenario. Interestingly, the formation must change to accomodate the personnell, unless he plays AJ or Nasri off Aguero's shoulder.

WE need one of ED or MB to be fit just to play the 4-2-2-2. About time we had a training report!

I've just been hearing that Silva is most likely going to be out of the Liverpool game due to injury...... medical team are doing what they can to aid recovery, but chances are he will miss the tie
And you sir, were correct. Funny how some doubted you. Would anyone /really/ embarrass themselves with a thread like this if it wasn't true?

I know pal. As soon as you mention on this forum that you know somebody at the club, people instantly discredit you..... like staff don't actually have any friends!

From what I understand though Blues, this is NOT a broken ankle, although he has gone to Spain to see "his specialist". I have no idea when he might come back, could have been this morning, could be next week.

Will keep you informed if I hear anymore.

Well done lad, you scared the f*ck out of me when you told us Silva was injured, no doubts, that's why I'm pleased with this post of no broken ankle.

Keep it up, would love to know when Silva is back home and updates on his injury.

To be honest, for the last 6 weeks i've been watching him thinking he looks like he's injured. He's needed a rest for ages.
I think he picked up an injury against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, he took a whack and didn't look right after it. I think he's still feeling it

Silva was the only player missing from training today according to Doug H's training report. Dzeko and Balo looking good!

This is not meant as a dig at the OP but should we really be divulging this info? Is it beneficial to the club and would the club be happyabout it? And no this is not a call for secrecy and suppresion of information. It´s a serious question - are we aiding and abetting our enemies? Any thoughts?

Our 'enemies' are going to find out anyway the day before at the very latest in most cases....
