I honestly think that some of the posters are to young to remember Gio cause they would not be putting comments like country mile and not fit to lace his boots etc... relating to the other 3 been better than him .

I would ask any poster now and say who is the best player in the world right now and why ? If they reply its messi cause the way he goes past players there is no more discussion.

I am old enough to remember Kinky. If the question out of those 4 would I have in the team it would be Silva all day long. Silva is a better footballer. If he stays 4 or 5 years he will be the best ever City player. There is no doubting Kinky's level of skill and he was a shinning light when we were probably at our worst. None of the other 3 would score the Southampton goal but would have a greater effect on a game than Kinky. Now that could have been down to the fact Kinky played with some shite players and was pretty much the only gifted player we had but based on what I have seen from him I would pick Silva all day long. I understand the love for Kinky in the same way I can players like Goater, Uwe and Dickov all of which have been surpassed in terms of quality by current players but will always be players that people of our generation will adore because of what they gave us when we were at our lowest.

I'm not pissed yet. Messi is the best in the world mate and one of probably a hand full of players that are out of Citys reach when we make the CL.
