Jim Kerr actually stated that this song was the inspiration for ‘Belfast Child’. The melody is almost identical. You’re right, she never released this. She only ever sang it live to my knowledge. It was featured in the film ‘Michael Collins’.

Felt they jumped the shark when they played ibrox Stadium.. every song seemed to last 20 minutes and JK came across as a bit of a knob

I’ve heard bootlegs from most tours and those 84 shows are the most specialSaw them at the Apollo in 84, Paris in 89, Leeds in 89 and Manchester Arena in 2009.
The first 2 were brilliant, Leeds was too long of a day in boiling heat but still a great setlist. The Arena gig though was virtually the audience singing the more popular tunes. OMD were a brilliant support on that tour.
