Is it pointless? If the dressing room has gone ( not saying it has ) or at the very least certain high profile players are already in the Maldives on the beach then maybe it is an actual neccessity to guarantee a top 4 finish.

This strictly speaking is not a negative post though I hold my hands up recently of being very negative. If you can explain to me why we are in the position we are in despite being champions, despite spending a few quid again. I am as loyal as they come to City but this is one of only a few places we can vent our frustration and think we are entitled to vent at the moment.

I will be more positive after we beat Barca 1-3 on Wednesday :-)

Just noticed a lot of negatives lately, not just from you but from other posters. Just that today all I have seen from you is negatives. We are still 2nd in the table, we may go out to Barca on Wednesday but I am sure the lads going will enjoy it and it should be a good game either way.

Some of the posters on here need to give their heads a wobble, we are light years ahead of where we used to be.

We have to get behind the boys even more now.

I agree. Though I don't think ANY City fan should accept the lack of effort and pride they showed on Saturday. It is simply unacceptable. I always like to go back to the days of Goater & Anelka. Anelka was the player with the tricks and the attitude and Goater the one with less than half his talent. My point being a bit of effort can take players a long way. Back to basics for me. Effot first and see how we get on.

It was a piss poor performance on Saturday I will agree with you on that one, however we need to be behind the boys for the rest of the season and see where we end up.
