Patrick taking over the club is something that we all think will happen at the 'right time' - which is not dictated by knee-jerk reaction

Anyway it looks like a resounding keep MP till at least the end of the season. Losing 6 out of or last 14 in all comps is NOT knee jerk.

Is it pointless? If the dressing room has gone ( not saying it has ) or at the very least certain high profile players are already in the Maldives on the beach then maybe it is an actual neccessity to guarantee a top 4 finish.

Yeah I just wanted to know the general opinion. Myself loving this club can't help but give my opinion or ask others theirs. Wrongly worded so apologies.

Today - no. However, depending on the performance rather than the result on Wednesday I may well change that to yes. Simple stats say that if we continue with this form and the chasing pack continue with there's, we will finish outside top 4. Does MP have the capability to turn our form round? God I hope so but evidence so far suggests not. I am suprised at all the definite no's I think that the call is much closer than that and finishing outside top 4 May have some pretty serious implications. I am not knee jerking on the basis of one result- more the evidence of this season. Hope I'm wrong.....

I think a lot of the No votes are based on the OPs question being as of this moment.

I voted No but if we got badly mauled on Wednesday and the team once again appeared to not give a toss then I'd probably change to YES.

Finishing outside the top 4 would be a disaster.Currently I think keeping Pellegrini until the end of the season is our best chance of achieving that
but if that appeared not be the case he'd have to go.

Exactly my thinking. A change of boss normally always improves performances short term and this is exactly what we need.
