I believe that Buses 1, 20 and 28 go from Salzburg Hauptbahnhof (Main Station) to the stadium and take about 25 mins.
The bus is free with a match ticket according to one website.
Anyone aware of any decent bars near the station?

Also, is anyone going into Munich on Friday night?
According to <a class="postlink" href="http://www.bahn.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.bahn.com</a> the trains run every 20 mins til 03.35 to the airport.

Thinking about ditching my hotel for that night.

salzburg is a great city, nothing much near station.you go down across the river wheres there a lively irish pub an club next door then there is plenty of bars around mozart square.

Thanks for that but as the buses seem to leave from the station to the stadium I was thinking of bars near the station for an hour or two before we leave for the stadium as opposed to the other day session areas.

Surely there must be at least a bar or two near the station?

How far is the Irish bar and Mozart square from the station (walking) and how long does it take to get to the station from it?

Cheers
