Not been for 20 odd years but loved the place .the hotel can sort trips out ,as stated stock up with drinks from supermarkets as extremley expensive in the bars

I was last there in 2005 and remember a pint of Guinness I had was about £7.

Katong is old area of Singapore best places to eat is 328 katong laksa.

Also hawker stalls in Chinatown are fantastic value.

Last time I Was there they were still building the marina universal studios etc. Zoo is a great day out
