Make up new songs but nobody bothers joining in.

What more exactly do those complaing want the singing section to do?

Yeah I think is was in reply to that, like when we won the prem in 2012 fringe bar was bouncing with city fans in a ongoing rendition of the city is a massive club song.

Watched Arsenal v Everton tonight on Sky Sports.

You could hear a pin drop for most of the game.

Went to Burnley.

Decent home support near us.
Went quiet when we scored.
Very vocal after the Sterling miss and when they scored.
Loads of banter with the City fans.
The age of the Burnley fans next to the City was late teens, early twenties, and upwards.
The old fashioned stand, with a low roof helped their support.
We we decent bar the last 10 minutes.
You could sense what was coming.

There was an interesting cameo in the WBA game on Tuesday night on NBC where for 30 seconds the cameras just focused on a small group of City fans . One guy was looking into the pie he was eating the entire term ,the girl next to him was head down busy texting,and a guy behind was yawning. All around it was like looking at a bunch of strangers in a lift.. I guess its the new norm for football crowds everywhere.

Utd fans used to sing it. I remember 1990 the 'I just welled it' OT derby Utd sang '17 years and won F*** all, City is our name' and followed it up with "City, City, nobody knows your name'. After Brightwell scored City fans in the paddock started to chant 'City, City, nobody knows our name' over and over again. MUFC fans looked at each with disbelief, didn't get the humour/irony etc.

Much improved from the Singing Section on Saturday. I think the 17:30 KO time always helps because most fans i ever speak to enjoy a good afternoon in the pub and don't feel the rush of the day and missing out on the pub for earlier KO times on a Saturday. After being half cut before a game, everyone is a bit more jolly, they get to the game and are more up for a decent racket.
