"Singing section you're having a laugh"

Two things :
Get on yor feet and make a din and
Support 1894...they're trying to improve things for the benefit of everyone

Atmosphere was ok yesterday but has lost a bit of intensity. Maybe a bit of 'expectation' has crept back in again
Personally I feel that SS3 could pull their weight a bit more...I thought a load of 'The Boys' had gone up there !!

I think most are that knackered by the time they have climbed to their seat, they have no breathe left...

It's not that bad in 314 I don't think the noise travels very well. It's better than previous season's. Of course it would help if there were fans next too us rather than an empty block.

I've been in 210 for the past few years and I'm in 114 this year. In each area it sounds like the other area aren't making any noise, but the people near me are. So that's that.

No one is going to take a lecture from.anyone in 110 about singing when the so-called 'singing section' there hasn't done anything for 5 years !!!
109-111 has been the only area of the ground consistently good for the last five years. The South Stand has been nothing to talk about for a long time, even going as far to say that the South was no better than anywhere else in the stadium at times. Until the Chelsea game where it was excellent and then gone backwards since but it is still much better and will get even better and i'm happy about what is going on for our future atmosphere. But to say that tiny little section over in the corner hasn't done anything for five years is wrong. Considering there's no more than a few hundred of them they've been our only good section for these years.

That's bollox and has feck all to do with it. When the Kippax was shut for renovation and we relocated to the North stand all the singers congregated at the very back of the stand, sound was not gulfed by the overhang then.
That's because there wasn't an overhang. There was a roof a long way above our heads.

All the best sets of fans at the Etihad have had all their singers at the front, two to a seat, bunched together singing and it travels around the ground.

They should do a 'sit where you like' block. You pay sit (stand) in that block and it's first come first serve as to where you go. Groups would get to their seats early so they could stand with their mates and singers could mix together. Easy

I don't know what it is that makes me love you so.
I only know I never want to let you go
'Cause you started something, can't you see.
Ever since we met you've had a hold on me.
It happens to be true, I only want to be a blue.

Atmospherics and matchplay experience all mean different things to different people
No one supporter draws upon atmosphere in the same manner as his neighbour.
Some blues enjoy a match day slurp whilst others prefer a melancholic interval with flask and beef paste butties. Were all individuals I guess

Some supporters however do take passion to a new level and the enjoyment they personally draw from it is second to none.
They also spread that atmospheric magic to those in their immediate vicinity.

I have stood next to one of the singing fraternity chaps and the results if I may be so bold as to say were very good indeed !
We were at Sunderland away the other week,I do not know not his name but he wore a dark T shirt with a fashion brand name emblazened on that the youngsters all tend to wear.
Early twenties causation 5' 9 shortish black hair and residing in the hallowed 115 and mais oui what a fine voice he had.
A cross between a tenner and a semi quaver but with an occasional hint of raw baritone.
He was obviously a leader of our singing section because he knew all the very older songs including disco pants.
Every time he sung the away support would rapturously follow.
His sidekick also sung well too !

In reality it is very difficult to emulate the European grounds as their atmospherics and fan involvement is simply way off the charts Does it all lead to better atmosphere and match-day experience ?
