I loved the council estate I grew up on. there were some proper rum cunts on it though and by christ I took some beatings at times but it was probably the only time in my life I have lived somewhere and felt part of a community. I knew nearly everyones name and everyone knew me. I could go out and play with my mates and as long as we were there the parents knew we were watched over and safe. Now I have lived in the same house for 2 and a half years and I dont know a single persons name

anyone left on these after the age of 25 should be asked why they are still there. If they haven't got a reasonable answer, they should be made to fix Roads, paint fences ect.

Took me 24 years to escape, hate them. Now I rent in a higher class area it's great! I can walk my dog round the block, chat with like minded people, Alot more relaxed.

I think anyone who leaves at the age of 24 and then gives out about people staying after the age of 25 should be made to clean nuclear spillages for the rest of their life with no gloves.

We still live on a council estate in Stretford. Me mum and dad both work full time, I'm 21 studying a business management degree and work part time, my 16year old sister is doing A-levels and works part time. Not all of us are fucking dossers you know.
