Siouxsie & The Banshees thread

Arabian Knights was the track I ever heard from " Suzie and the banshees" as I used to write all over my school books. ...

That single still to this day just amazes me.The quality.the drums the bass.the noise..The Voice. An absolute goddess...

It was years later that I discovered the punk Siouxsie, and that was another watermark in my music knowledge.Watching the old footage of Make up Break up...at the Elizabethan club London
absolutely brilliant.Electric. Carcass.brilliant.
Elizabethan suite. Belle Vue Manchester. Some of us were lucky enough to have been there ; )

I feel blessed as a FOC to have been to loads of Banshees Gigs 1977-1981 and was in a Box with Pete Shelley briefly in 1988 at the Albert Hall (the day either after or before a 3-1 win at Chelsea -when Away Fans were Officially banned and I was sat in their East Stand about 8 seats away from Ken Bates!)

Must have been a great night mate.
I think I got the ES mixed up with the famous venue in London they also played around that era, can't remember name now.

I bought Spellbound when it came out. Still got the single somewhere. They did some good songs overall.
Great track. Spellbound is the name of the longest running goth nite in notts( also at leicester and briefly Sheffield) the track is still the most popular of the night on the dance floor, absolute floor filler, young and old.
