Six Nations 2026

Don't know about the forward pass the comms are talking about but the French right wing is great to watch.

But what are ITV doing with in-play adverts? That was ... ugh. It's bad enough having to listen to the dreadful ITV lead commentators without them doing stuff like that.
I’m bloody disgusted that ITV have stooped this low.

I bet they wouldn’t do it in a football match.

Can't see anyone stopping this French side in the next 2. Then Scotland-France, and France-England in the last round to decide the winner.

I am available for more predictions.

I assume the complete change of the French front five was in part due to the schedule and not wanting to run players into the ground early on.

Thought that was ‘en idiot’. Quite a thump.

Ryan? Two hits in a minute or two from him. I think the ref was happy to just get on with the match when things happened, could have re-watched a few incidents and might have done if Jalibert hadn't got up reasonably quickly.

Quite a good game with not too many stoppages. Think France made 5-6 penetrating breaks that broke down deep in Ireland’s half, either because of a missed pass or desperate tackle, so it could have been a lot worse for the Irish.

He’ll feel that one in the morning when he wakes up.
Thought the officials were good.

Tough watch for an Irishman...but was always gonna be a France win with our young and less experienced squad. Some glimmers of hope in the second half but ultimately, France are incredible.

What I love about the six nations is you can still appreciate great rugby even when you lose.

I enjoy the referees just as much.

Yes - I liked the "I've no idea what just happened" line.

Neither side seemed interested in fighting the other lot or complaining. Maybe because the French were so far ahead that it was pointless, but not many penalties near the goalline or scrum resets and only one penalty goal helped the game.

The referrals were also both quick and accurate. I know it's a different game, but it really felt like watching a different game!

Yes, one look to see what happened, but that might be because they were all (I think) asked for by the ref, so all it was was confirming his thoughts.
