French alps was the plan, where to avoid in March? Don’t know if he was winding me up but a mate reckons Scotland can be a decent budget option, be interesting to hear your thoughts
Scotland is a good option rarely and not one you can plan in advance for.
It is possible to have great skiing in Scotland but at any given time it is not probable.
France is a good option but has been pretty warm this winter and is less reliable than usual.
 
I saw a Menonite (Amish) kid once skiing in a roadside culvert behind a horse.
Sorry for drifting some way off topic but I don't think Amish are Menonites. I believe they are 2 separate groups (though I could be mistaken).
