Seriously folks you're deluded if you honestly think there is no bias against us. We only ever feature on the Sunday Supplement if we lose. Yaya's dive was heavily criticised yet not a word was uttered about Shrek's dive the week before. The fact that Sky thinks that Shrek getting paid £300, 000 a week is fine and dandy yet our players are portrayed as mercenaries. Oh! and that YouTube footage you've used as your evidence against an agenda was and will always be the most exciting end to any football season. oSo of course they'll (Sky) use it for advertisement purposes it's a bloody good selling point. The reality is Sky would be far happier if we simply went away and their beloved rags were able to get their shit together.
As a neutral, I don't see it as a bias against City, ask any Sunderland fan, and they will say Sky/Match of the Day (the football league show next year), all have an agenda against us. It may be that footy fans are slightly paranoid,, or I think in City's case...it is down to this....
City winning is almost an assumption that it is likely to happen, therefore it is far more newsworthy when you don't win, as it is largely unexpected. Similarly, it is expected that City will be in the title race, but this year Liverpool is more newsworthy given their unexpected and dramatic rise this season.
Whether it is right or not is another question?
What I do notice however, is the undulating love affair with the Rags, whether this is because they largely dominated as Sky grew, or there may be bigger audiences for their games I don't know....but even the commentary during games involving the unwashed is unashamedly one sided. If commentators were to be believed, there would be a 3 way tie this year for the Ballon D'or between Rooney, Giggs, and Jinnyjazz.
