Sky - Mané Red card poll (official appeal rejected)

A United fan said to me last night "Well, your keeper was out of his box so it was his fault"

I replied "You're a rag but that doesn't mean people can go around kicking you in the head unpunished"

What has that got to do with anything?
Nobody's suggesting he purposely injured Ederson.
He was correctly sent off for dangerous play and should have been sent off even if he missed Ederson's head by a few inches.
I agree with all of that. The excusers are using "watching the ball" as an excuse. It's not an excuse, the picture shows the ball and Eddie's head are one and the same as he makes contact. That's all. I was being ironic.

The was serious foul paly by Mane, and that is a straight red card if's and no but's. I wonder what G.N. would have to say while he's commentating on the Man. Utd v. Everton game next Sunday. Let's say it was W. Rooney on David de Gea would he be saying that that should be a yellow card, no I am in know doubt, that he will be wanting a red card.

Alan Smith said at the time "maybe he should have gone down squealing to get him sent off"

He could have but it may have looked fake as from what I've seen it didn't look like his face was caught at all. He could have at least held his arm as if the pain was excruciating a he did catch his arm

Sat in 204 on Sat and during the wait for the game to resume two things struck me, 1 how many times the ref told Mane to leave the field and why did not the Liverpool captain tell him to leave, 2 the behaviour of Klopp on the touchline ranting at the 4th official for at least 6 min. Both of these events I could see were getting fans in the South East corner of the ground wound up yet to date not a fuckin word in the media, hope the ref puts it in his report for action to be taken.

I'm just watching the match again and the first thing Neville could muster up after the incident was that it was OUR fault as our defence was all over the place.
He moaned and fussed about otamendi and the back 3 all match, he just couldn't get over himself and view the sending off professionally which made him look very amateurish as usually his commentary and views are pretty bob on.

When Neville sees something that he was uncomfortable with as a player such as zonal marking or three at the back, all he can do is point out the faults, never the positives
A player gets a run and a free header against a team that is zonal marking, Neville will say "I don't like zonal marking. This is what happens"
Yet he could have been co commentator for the Stoke vs Rags match and wouldn't critisise man marking even though when Phil the Face didn't do his job, the Stoke player scored a free header from four yards
