Don't see why they can't vary the rule for two bookings leading to a sending off, given the unjust, disproportionate and direct impact that can have on the next game.If you could appeal yellows you'd have 20 or 30 appeals every week and that's just from the premier league.
I agree entirely that Walker and Sterling both got second yellow cards for bugger all, but there are sound reasons why you can't appeal yellows.

If this had been a Brighton player or any other non Big Four Sky cartel, not a shit would have been given.
For me, he had the right to go for the ball, he missed it and caught our keeper way too high, he rightly got sent off and he got a 3 game ban. I am not sure why such a fucking drama has been made of it.
The fact a Swansea player didn't get sent off for the same thing just highlights that the ref in that game wasn't good enough.

Now that appeals are heard before the club's next match that extra punishment was scrapped as it was only used if the FA thought the club were trying to delay the suspension by appealing so that the offender could play in their next match.Cheeky bastards where's the extra game ban ???
