If we go on to win the Premiership title then there’s only one man who deserves to win the Manager of the Year and that is Manuel Pellegrini.
The only other managers in the running are Rodgers and Pulis.
Although Pulis has done a fantastic job since taking over at Palace you cannot judge someone over half a season.
As for Rodgers, he’s made Liverpool into an entertaining side, good to watch. His target beginning of the season was to get them into the Champions League which they’ve achieved with three or four games in hand. They’ve had no distraction from European games & had a pretty much injury free season apart from Sturridge last few games.
Pellegrini however has had four trophy’s to compete in, which looks like Premier League title, Capitol cup winners, FA Cup last eight & Champions League last sixteen, which is pretty good work for his first season.
Yes, people may say that we have a far superior squad than Liverpool but come the end of the season we will have played 14 more competitive games than Liverpool, not to mention dealing with injury’s to major players throughout the season.
