A lot of people, like me, are fans of the other sports they show. I’d probably miss the rugby league and American football more than football if I didn’t have it. I’ve considered getting a dodgy box a couple of times but I’ve always stuck with Sky or Virgin in the end. One of the main reasons is I like to be able to just flick between channels rather than having to individually search for every programme you want to watch.

Spookily, Now TV have just restarted the same deal I was on last year and which I referred to in my earlier post One day of sky sports plus 8 months of sky sports mobile for £11.98, new and existing customers.

Offer runs to end of September for activation, so pick a day we're playing and you fancy watching us on sky and take out the membership that day to maximise your coverage of city games.

With mobile you don't get all the sky sports channels, but I was able to use it to watch our sky games every time we were on.

Personally I'd suggest waiting until late September to activate if possible, as you'd cover the vital run in for may too

That deal looks (looked) a great shout. The other thing I noticed on their advertising yesterday is they are now saying sports channels at £18/month now have a one month length/cancel at any time option. I’ve never seen that before, I thought it had always been a 12 month contract commitment before. Maybe they’ve finally twigged not enough people want a full year commitment.

I guess now, if there are certain months with lots of City matches on, it’s more attractive to dip in and out of (let’s hope April/May next year is one such month).

For some reason, my SkySports Mobile deal keeps being resurrected!
Was supposed to expire in July but now it’s January 2023.
