I watched it on SSN and he clearly says "We want Carlos to come back.He's been gone 8 days and we don't know where he is.Maybe he is on a plane, we don't know."

The interviewer then asks him if, as City manager, he cant DEMAND Tevez comes back.

Mancini then says "We HAVE demanded he comes back.We need him"

If I was Tevez, caring for a premature baby, and I heard that, I'd be fucking fuming.One of them is going imo.

this story has been blown way out of proportion. give tevez as much time as he needs. his daughter is in intensive care ffs. football will be the last thing on his mind right now. give him time and when he comes back he will be better than ever. If Mancini did say they we have demanded him back then he is out of order but maybe it was something to do with the language barrier???

Tevez has a genuine reason for being away, it has been said before that his family is hugely important to him. When we have spent over £200 million other people should be coming into the side and seizing their opportunity, its a sorry state of affairs when instead of being able to say "Wow didnt Ireland/RSC/Petrov/Whoever do well" we are left with demanding that a guy returns to the fold despite his new born baby being seriously ill in intensive care. As far as I am concerned Tevez has nothing to answer for, the questions should be asked of those who have replaced him while he has been away!
