Are you sure? I read it as some events, big events, will be on this channel. Rather like PPV, will they show title deciders, derbies, etc only on the Main Event channel?

Agreed,and all the bollocks about you can pick one sports ch or two and so on to cater for what you want is also a load of bollocks as well,you have to take one of the bundles as well,some might have been interested if they could ring or do it online and say give me the premier league ch and throw in the football channel as well but bugger all else,they have messed up again the stupid greedy bastards..
 
Every time I hear the Sky advert and the Aguero moment I think how much the Rags will hate it, even now. Makes me feel warm inside!
 
I have sky sports through my BT box and it has just reconfigured to the Prem and main events channel. Great for me. Others have said you only get the main event with the full package? This doesn't seem the case if you have Sky Sports as an add on, on BT
 
Technophobe looking for advice pls....... I have the Sky sports app on my I pad, since the changeover, I can longer access the app
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling with no joy, any advice will be gratefully received ☺️

Should? The wood for the coffin hasn't been planted yet. He'll be trying to outdo Motson on the BBC. Both old farts - as opposed to we FOCs. The day we get a section at The Etihad labelled FOFs it'll be time to hang up my ST.
 
Just complained to BT that they're now charging me £27.50 a month for basically one sport channel when Sky would charge me the same for all 10 sports channels.

Seems that Sky don't make their full package available to BT customers so can only get what they allow BT to have. Makes a mockery of the notion of competition.

Other sports such as ufc, NHL, nfl and so on have their own pass system.
UFC costs me £50 for 12mths, with this I'm given an application.

This app allows me to cast any ufc event and many other MMA events straight to my TV, any time I want. Including live events.

One price, all you can eat.
I ain't paying for a load of music channels, a dish on the side of my house, movie reruns and cookery shoes as well.
I just get The UFC.
The sport I want.

WWE also do this.

So this is where Football seriously needs to go, in particular The Premier League.

We buy a pass, watch every game, don't need any boxes, dishes and all that jazz.
Just your smartphone /tablet and a Chromecast or Amazon fire stick.
My Chromecast cost me £30
Bargain.

This is moving with the times.
Maybe a specific team pass, so you could just pay to watch City.

For going on over a decade now I've watched my football online.
It's much better now, HD streams and costs me about £40 per year, never miss a game.

What pisses me off is I want to legally use this kind of service here in the UK.
But it isn't available due to the corporations greed.
