Sky vs Setanta

With Setanta of the verge of collapse it got me thinking just how powerful Sky is.

Any competition soon gets blown away or conveniently 'merge'.
I just don't think anybody can compete with this lot and stay afloat.

Murdoch seems to have as much power if not more than most world leaders and I still think they had a hand in the RAGS Winning the prem in its inaugural year in 92, subscribers must have gone up 10 fold when all the armchair RAGS wanted to see what there team looked like.

IMO opinion a bit of competition would be a good thing but its just not going to happen, Murdoch is just far to powerful, no-one can compete with him and the fucker has got far too much influence in worldwide goings on.

Will anybody ever be able to take this man on?

Sky's coverage of sport is world class, as soon as someone produces the same amount coverage then Sky will continue to be untouchable.

Well SKY have had 16 years to perfect their coverage were as Setanta have had very little, added to that their customer service has rubbed people up the wrong way as has craig burley!

Setanta is shite and Sky's coverage of all sport is brilliant.

Setanta is appalling - I'm cancelling mine as there's really nothing on after the season ends. And next year, they only have half last year's games. Also, Set.sports news is rubbish compared to the sky version, very amatuerish, poor presenters.

Setanta are truly crap. When Sky pulled Sports news from virgin customers at least we had something with setanta but now we have sky sports back, its not in the same class.

Even today giving out a tennis score they said someone beat someone 7-5 4-6 5-4 3-4 lol
They are never up to date on scores, football evening kick offs are even worse. Switched over to sky and breaking news was the correct tennis score with all 5 sets scores.

The irony being the EU declared that the Premier League rights be split up into packages so that other companies could afford them. What a ridiculous decision that has turned out to be.

When I cancelled Setanta in April, i received the usual call from them asking why I had cancelled.

I then spent 15 minutes explaining to the bloke that their coverage is absolute shite.

I asked him what Craig Burleys problem with City was, cause he has never said a good word about us in 2 years.

I asked him why their Saturday evening game appeared to be United every week.

It was good to get it off my chest.

Sky aint much better. Their top 4 bias / Richard Keys / Jamie edknapp etc

Worst of all they get that fish faced ****** **** Platt to summarise our games whenever we are on.
