Sky vs Setanta

Setanta are perhaps the worst company ever to deal with, they do not know what they are doing and they lie there way out of any problems. I phoned to cancel they said they needed it in writting, so i wrote them a letter and heard nothing back, i then cancelled my direct debit and then the harassment calls started, after arguing my case to some idiot i then spoke to his supervisor, another idiot, he said send another letter. so i did and again the harrasment continued, they now reckon that both letters never turned up, what crap! I then wrote a letter of complaint but despite regulations saying they must acknowledge my complaint letter i heard nothing. I just ignored the calls from that point and they stopped after a while. It comes as no surprise they are a company in the shit, i hope they go bust and all lose their jobs!!

I would be shocked if they do go bust. Setanta have there stations in a few countries around the world. Yes they are finding it hard to get money together like everyone else but they will be around for a few more years. The deals they have signed for England matches , FA Cup , Priemier League , Europa Cup , Champions League ( Ireland ) and there other leagues they show SPL , French , German and Dutch leagues they show more football than Sky do. It may not be up to the quaility of the football Sky shows but you will get people signing up just for there football alone.
Then if you add the likes of Boxing , UFC , Rugby and the Cricket IPL I would say they got a shit load of people signing up just for that cricket. Golf and now the NBA playoffs. They can cut costs easy and you will see them get rid of the Setanta News soon enough. Also the Speical1tv it is the best thing on Setanta or Sky by a mile it pisses over Soccer AM.

Its only the uk side thatll go bust,setanta ireland/us seem to do o.k
They need 1.9 million subscibers to break even on setanta uk and have 1.1 million. Theyre screwed
