sky's rob parrish's team of the year.

If it is team of the year then fair enough for Carrol as his goals fired the toon to promotion as champions and he has carried on in the top flight, likewise JT has captained and lead chavski on the field to the league title.
It does not mean that they are currently the best in their positions.

all media outlets seem to be at it. my monthly 442 magazine was delivered yesterday and the main feature is the annual "top 100 players in the world". i decided to finish my cig and coffee before perusing through it whilst sat on the throne. i was thinking to myself that they daren't put the granny shagger above tevez as carlos has outshone him in every aspect during 2010.
i was trying to concentrate on my anul activities when i found tevez at number 29. i almost burst a blood vessell however, when mid-strain, i turned the page to see rooney at number 12! how the fuck can they suggest that rooney is the 12th best player in the world? what a farce.

Don't forget, Rooney was absolutely unstoppable, a goal machine in 2010.......until March.

sorry mate,no way has he outshone vinnie this year..
He did. Terry is a **** of the highest order but he is a top class player.

Used to be. He is developing rapidly into a first-class cart horse who still thinks that he can berate the refs everytime CFC concede and that will do instead of defending.

And the end of March was only a quarter of the year. What has he done since? Absolutely nothing. So how can a player who had a great three months be above one who has scored 33 goals in 45 games (for City and Argentina).

And anyone who thinks Vincent Kompany is an average centre-back really doesn't know anything about football.

correct.
we can afford suspensions/injuries to kolo, lescott, boyatta, boeteng, richards or anybody else who can play cb.but if kompany is out for any period of time, our world will fall apart.
at centre back he's magic,
in midfield,he's fantastic,
up front,he'd an hat-trick,
he's vincent kompany!
