What this story does highlight is your local hand car wash. How many on here use them ?
Most are abusing the workers in one form or another, if not slavery, not paying the minimum wage etc.
I find it strange that people are very vocal about workers rights but will use a car wash because its so cheap.

I dont do many serious posts but this is a subject that is eating away at me.
We cannot change history, the enslavement of millions of black Africans is a stain on ours and others history but as individuals we can do something about Modern Slavery.
If someone can wash, wax, vacuum your car for £5 something is wrong. Yes it oh so easy to get the guys working out of a closed petrol station forecourt to do it, after all its cold, far too cold for you to clean your car. But it has a price. You save a tenner, he lives in squalor. He is or might be enslaved. Smuggled into the country and then forced to work, usually for little money as he is forced to repay the criminals who brought him to our country.
When your Missus gets her nails done at that shop that is way cheaper than the others, think of the living and working conditions you do not see. Think of the criminals exploiting her.
We, as individuals can do something. Without us there is no market. The more we use the slave trade the more slaves there will be. Modern Slavery is easier to hide but just as abhorrent.

I was exaggerating when I said a fiver.
Around my way there are no automatic car wash machines, why ? Because they are not viable.
Slavery is in your local area. It may be nail bars, prostitutes, what ever, but it is there.
There is no point in a government raising the minimum wage if we are prepared to pay slaves.

All we can do is take a stance where we suspect there might be an issue. Cheap fast fashion - who's making the clothes!? This goes for people buying cheap drugs on the street as well. Who do you think is packing up your 20 bags and grams...

Being a biblical Christian, I beat fuck out of mine and then sweat for two days in case they don’t recover on the 3rd day. I also only take slaves from foreigner lands. Threw a couple of cunts in my van on the way back from a, Jesus is Love convention in Prague. I also really enjoy sticking a piece of wood through an ear, just to let them know whose in charge. All fine by the guy upstairs as I’m following his rules.
