Michael Johnson was and is very very slow also Bernado Corradi used to run like he was wearing lead underpants! IMO Corradi is the slowest i have seen at City

Ray Sambrook from the late fifties, early sixties. Must have been the slowest winger ever to play pro football. Made Ricky Holden look like Usain Bolt. Think we got him from Forest. We had a great scouting system in those days !

Tony Cunningham by a country mile! He was a big muscular centre forward who terrified our defence[not hard at the time] in the early eighties so we bought him from Sheffield Wednesday. He played,if that is the right word, eighteen times and scored one goal.

If he was any slower or laid back he would have been asleep on the pitch he was so bad!I swear i never saw him break out in a sweat, well almost once when he had to actually run and nearly had a heart attack such was the shock to his body!

This - the slowest winger ever. He would beat a man then they would catch up even though the defender slid in.

Dont know if it was his debut but I do remember beating about 3 players on the kippax touchline. I thought this guy is mint
