There was a player from the early 60s who we, on the North Terrace, christened 'Treacle Feet' cos he always looked as though he was running through treacle. The name Paul Anson comes to mind but I wouldn't bet on first and/or second name being correct.

I think that must be Paul Aimson. Played for us late 50's / early 60's but only for a handful of games as I recall. Mainly a reserve.

That's him. Paul Aimless was another epithet we attached to the poor lad!
