I never saw Ricky Holden play live, so can't give an opinion on him, but we've had plenty of pedestrians in my time watching City - Colin Viljoen, George Heslop, Barney Daniels, et al - however, in my view, of all those I've been privileged enough to see live, at Maine Road, over the years, Freddie Hill undoubtedly wins this poll by an absolute street. As I'm sure many others who, like me, are old enough to have seen him "in action," back in the day, will testify.
