How fucking much money have this Government wasted on projects, motorways and the super fucking railway and nobodies accountable if that was anyone else in a job wasting money they would have been sacked long ago. Not this fucking lot they get given top pension.

Was on the M6 a few days ago and saw at least 20 cars get flashed on the other side was really distracting. Something must have been wrong with the speed limit for so many to get done at once.
But yes I find these smart motorways dogshit no one uses the left lane it has made no difference.

If people actually abide by the speed limits and signals and exit the lane before the red X then Smart Motorways are just about workable.
Traffic volume has increased exponentially over the last 40 years, and Smart Motorways are possibly the cheapest way to increase capacity on our overburdened road networks without HUGE investment.
