i'd say taking a ten year old kid to West Ham away was a bad move in the first place.

Oops better tell my twelve year old kid I'm not taking him to Newcastle now them!perhaps it's better left to eighteen to forty year olds so they can drink their lager, snort coke and pick fights then!

If the only real problem is an odd smoke bomb, then we really have come a long way since the bad old days of the 80's and 90's.

TBF City fans aren't the only away fans who are letting off smoke bombs. Plenty of others away fans are doing it now.

Perhaps younger football fans are putting two fingers up to the Government, the PL, and the People who now run football. The very People who have done a wonderful job of sanitizing football and football fans.

one went off right in front of me against everton away last season.

i was in the middle of the smoke and it literally did nothing apart from impair my view for less than 2 minutes.

not quite sure what the issue is.

I can't say they bother me that much, nor did they on Saturday, and 3 went of close to where I was stood, but if you're man enough to have them, then why not be man enough to stand their holding it until the old bill arrive to kick you out, rather than roll it down the steps and get some inniocent blue in trouble ?

As for adding to the atmosphere, really ? all they added saturday was smoke in a confined space, its not like there was any singing during the smoke, so it added the square root of f*ck all for me, other than impede my view for 2 minutes.

think they look quality when they go off...

been going off all over the place for last 12 months but as the villa spurs game was on tele and got picked up by the camera's they seem to be making an issue out of it all of a sudden..

imo this was worse and didn't get as half as much coverage / fuss

Same here. A smoke bomb after the first goal was let off right behind me and impaired my view for about 30 seconds if that.
