Smoking In Toilets

This is a great idea in theory but in reality probably wouldn't work. It'd kick off the minute a steward or two tried to drag out some smokers and you'd end up with a couple of stewards getting swung at by 15-20 smokers, and everyone else just filming it on their phones for Facebook/Instagram. The club would be negligent to put stewards in that position and I'd imagine stewards would refuse to put themselves in a position where they may get hurt. A lot of the time in football stadiums, stewards are there as a visible deterrent but don't actually do any heavy lifting themselves when the going gets tough, which isn't a criticism as I'd imagine they don't receive too much training and aren't paid a wage sufficient enough to cover risk to personal safety.I vape now, don't need to bother tho, I just have a piss in the ss3 bogs and I'm covered for half the journey home.
Easy solution is to have 2 stewards outside telling everyone there are spotters inside and you will be pulled out from your seat and banned during the second half.
20 or so pulled out in full view will have a big effect in future games
Get some smoke-activated sprinklers in the toilets, I'm sure this action would be covered by a fire safety policy.

Just let people smoke on the spirals ffs. Everyone does anyway, and non-smokers wouldn't have to walk through a cloud of smoke to go for a piss.

Sheer bloody mindedness prevents it mate, or is their a nailed on law that prevents the club from adopting that stance?

It may be a law, I'm not an expert. At other grounds they open the gates at half time so you can smoke. Goodison Park does anyway.

I'm not sure City even have a CCTV system let's be honest, if the footage can't identify a thug throwing a cup of coins at a child, then they aren't going to be able to pick out someone who was previously spotted in the toilets 20mins prior.
