Smoking In Toilets

Now more than ever it's important for people to respect others young and old to protect them from coronavirus. With this in mind surely the mass groups of people that smoke in the toilets around the ground will stop doing so to protect other people. I am worried that maybe they won't and people will be faced with the same cloud of smoke when entering and breathing other peoples smoke in a confined area. If people do continue to smoke in the toilets then they should be reported and thrown out....what is the general feeling about this?
It took me a while to realise they was actually toilets…. I was wondering why everyone was pissing in the what I thought was giant ash trays

report them and ban them until problem stops!!

Its the club's fault for not having designated smoking areas like several other clubs have. It's probably because it will cost money to set up but they won't make anything from it. The bogs behind 110 are the worst that I've been in and can only sympathise with those who don't smoke. The simple solution there is to open the gates at HT and let smokers have a cig.

Most of the spirals are ok to have a cig from unless you get a showsec jobsworth mithering. If so just launch them off over the side and make sure you don't drop your cig over too.

There was one noticeable exception when a relative was popping round and asked if I not smoke at all, not even in the garden because of the health of her and her child. The simple way around that was to ask her not to bother coming round, caused a fuss at the time but I wont have people telling me what to do in my own house.

Worst thing is that she smoked weed, she explained that it wasn't real smoking.
She ?
Are you sure this isn't @Blue Mist you're talking about.... I know this is the kind of stunt he would likely pull.

People will have to put up with the possibility of inhaling a bit of half-time smoke. This will impact gravely, I’m sure,on the ability to fully ventilate their knickers

I don't smoke and it's grim when you walk in an away end toilets and your met with a cloud of smoke, but what does smoking in the toilets have to do with Corona Virus.
The expelled smoke has just been inside someone's lungs, where Covid-19 likes to multiply.

Speaking of Coronavirus. I have been double jabbed since June. Went to the United match on Saturday. Didn't wear a mask because, well, nobody did. Apart from the stadium staff. At half-time I had a hot dog and a coke under the stands, went for a slash in the bogs. Didn't really stand that close to anyone, but on the way out afterwards we were all shuffling out like you'd imagine after a game. In each others pockets.

Anyway, I was feeling ill for the last few days and I tested positive for Covid this morning, so there you go. Wish I had wore a mask now at half-time and when leaving the stadium. It was in my pocket, but because nobody else had one on and loads of people have been jabbed, I thought we'd be okay.

I was wrong.

Simply because is isn't allowed anywhere on the grounds.

it will still happen, if its no smoking then no smoking.

Zagreb game springs to mind on this issue. We played them before we had to stay in !! The fans in the away end where openly smoking in the seats, some even had a pint. I said to the stewards look at those guys smoking, he shrugged shoulders and said been told not to go in, loonies that lot ! Had a city fan stood there smoking he would have had 6 police round him and a 30 year ban !
