Why, it's the truth. They dont give a shit about people who don't smoke and have to breath in their horrible cancerous fumes. I'm sure a few home truths won't hurt them, unlike the harmful substances they inhale in a toilet.

Quite right and while we are at it ,lets ban beer as well . Horrible smelling stuff. Passing the beer louts at the bar the fumes of their drink sodden breath stays on my clothes for ages.
I will be starting a ban mobile phone thread soon as well. Then I'm marching on Poland.

Sorry I didn't realise having a beer in an enclosed area or using a mobile phone is illegal or bad for your health.

Not at the moment it isn't. But people of the lets ban it brigade will soon make it happen. As for your health ,well no one dies from drink do they ? And all this talktalk about what mobiles do to the brain ,well I think you should put your mobile down for a while.

Each to their own, but as has been previously stated, the club say the Etihad is a no smoking campus, why risk a 3 match or perma-ban for the sake of a cig? If they banned beer, sure, I'd be properly pissed off, but I wouldn't be sneaking a couple of cans into the bogs at half time.

Makes me laugh reading this and the food thread.

Kippax = stinky burgers, hot dogs and balti pies with a nice coating of cigarette smoke in your face for extra flavour.

Stadiums today = gourmet food, burgers at £6 a pop and people hiding in bogs to have a cig.

The difference being he chooses to use a phone just like you choose to smoke.

I smoke I wouldn't do it at the ground but it does amaze me the amount of BS the anti smoking people say, let me ask you anti smokers something, would you prefer to be in a enclosed room with 100 smokers or an enclosed room with one car running?
We walk past cars all the time pumping stuff into us and we don't give a shite but a guy smoking....hang the bastard.

The facts are pretty simple on this - as Ducado alluded to in the OP, those toilets at the back of 110 have been a safe haven for dozens of smokers to gather at half-time. The amount of people smoking in such a confined space turned a simple piss stop into a thoroughly unpleasant experience where it was impossible to go for a leak and not be exposed to the vast amounts of smoke. And as we all know, it has been clinically proven that passive smoking can be life-threatening. None of this is an exaggeration - it's a fact. And the fact is that I can say with absolute certainty that the exposure to cigarette smoke in those toilets was far, far greater than any exposure I've ever experienced in any pub or club prior to the smoking ban coming in.
