What makes blues superior over the law of the land? It's announced before the game and at half time to not smoke inside the stadium so people still do it and don't listen and are breaking the law?

Well first of all they're breaking the law and people haven't got any choice to walk into a room full of smoke where they don't want to inhale the poison.

Calling other blues cunts cause they will report other people for breaking the law ok then.

As mentioned already - more middle of the concourse of the East Stand, so blocks such as 105-107 have less smokers in there than the toilets right next to the K1 entrance (111)
- Yes it isn't a permanent fix of the problem (smokers) but it's better than having to go in that cess pit.

As for this whole "grassing on Blues" shit... if the guy who was smoking was so fucking concerned about other city fans he wouldn't smoke inside the ground,
So I'm a firm believer in "treat people how you wish to be treated"
He's treating other's around him like shit by blowing his smoke around... so others will treat him like shit by getting him banned.
if he is so concerned about being banned then wait for 90' fucking minutes.

Me personally I haven't reported any smokers/coke sniffers and so on in the toilets as to be honest - it's fucking pointless as the Stewards wouldn't do anything.

I bet if I went into the ladies toilets for a piss i'd get banned straight away though :D

The stewards are in a hard situation, they know that smoking happens but you can't have someone stood in the toilets permenantly and its not safe to send a steward or 3 in to tell a few hundered people to stop smoking it'd end up in fights left right and center

I hate to spoil the happy atmosphere but it's started again in the toilets near 109/110 I thought the club had sorted it out but alas it was as bad as ever yesterday as an ex smoker I understand how powerful the addiction is, but FFS think of the non smokers and the kids with the range of nicotine replacement therapies available you could last a game without a fag

You are turning this in to an emotive issue and getting away from the real point of the thread, I suspect that you know full well that no one is going to admit to reporting people for anything, thus you are spectacularly missing the point the stadium rules are that there is no smoking and people should respect that fact, as well as respect the fact that the majority of people do not smoke and resent having to breath on others smoke, so the vast majority have to do nothing whilst other pollute their and in many cases their children's lungs but it's all OK because they are City fans and some how smoke from the fags of City fans is less dangerous and somehow more pleasant than the smoke of others, and because they are City fans they have the divine right to break any rules that have been put in place to protect the majority, heaven forbid if they have the audacity to complain then they will be called a grass

Top post. For those who think this is a trivial thing, go and speak to Roy Castle's widow or any other remaining relatives from the ~4000 people who don't smoke but develop lung cancer every year.

So your not familiar with the effects of passive smoking and how many catch lung cancer as a result. Or is it if you catch lung cancer from a "Blues" passive smoke, it's OK.

I remember the stewards at Pride Park opening the gates at the back of the away end so that the smokers could nip out for a quick one (or two) at half time.
I was a 20 a dayer until recently, it IS an addiction, but I'd never have dreamed of pissing other fans off by sparking up in the bogs.
I still vape, it's what got me off the real thing after almost 40 years. Don't think the club are allowed smoking areas in an enclosed stadium, but do the same laws apply to vaping areas?
Imagine the sweet smell of cherry menthol or Colombian coffee wafting through the stands. Sweet!

There are no laws banning vaping, totally down to the owners of the establishment. Should allow vaping in the concourse areas

Shouldn't be allowed in the toilets of course but personally I have mo problem with it on the spirals as they are open air. Would be better if there was a designated open air smoking area.

The minute you start making concessions the inconsiderate arseholes will want more. They'll be if smoke near spirals and puff the other way no one will get harmed. Or if we smoke near the turnstyles or gates then that will be okay too. The only way is no carrot big bad stick in that come down harder who are stupid enough to do it.
