Sneaky increase in ticket prices

I said this to my friends the other day.

Whilst Haaland is here, we're going to sell out the stadium week in and week out. It's basic economics, if there is more demand than supply, prices go up.

We need that extension ASAP.

The novelty will wear off after Christmas. Nobody is interested in watching a robot score tap-ins.

I would have thought that the final line of my comment indicated that it was 'tongue in cheek'.

Oh well... Many a true word spoken in jest.

Sorry mate. That’s the second time I’ve done that this week. But as I said first time, it’s so hard to tell on here.

I was in two minds last weekend whether to contact the ticket office and ask if I could pay again after seeing the first goal. Thirty or forty tap-ins a season will be just another record for the club! There hasn't been a City goal of any variety that hasn't delighted me enormously.

I don't.
Whats the justification for the increases?
They are taking the piss out of us fans - or
should I say 'they are maximising the moneytization of their customer base'?

I dunno mate. Maybe they were offering them at a discount at the start of the season, knowing those who missed out on season tickets would be looking to buy in bulk. And now they’re putting what’s left out at what they consider the “normal “ price.

Or maybe they are just exploiting their loyal fans and screwing them for a couple of quid whenever they think they can get away with it? Just because it's our club it doesn't mean that they are not money grabbing bastards like the rest of them.
