Sneaky increase in ticket prices

Anyone else noticed that for the Everton home game on NYE prices are now as high as £55.50 and where we got our tickets tier 3 east stand, they are now £57.50 (we got them 2 weeks ago for £55) well £50 with our memberships.

So they’ve added 2.50 to those. Fulham and Brentford have gone from £43 to now £48 in the same blocks.

It is interesting how tickets are now shifting faster they are adding these increases throughout the season.

As for Wolves and Villa in Jan, cheapest seats ss3 and ss1 even family stand all £58!!

I still can’t believe Chelsea home in the caraboa cup has sold out already. Glad I got mine quick!

It's worse than that, Fulham and Brentford were originally £33 (£28 with the membership).

Or maybe they are just exploiting their loyal fans and screwing them for a couple of quid whenever they think they can get away with it? Just because it's our club it doesn't mean that they are not money grabbing bastards like the rest of them.

Yeah I’m not totally disagreeing. They do loads of great stuff that costs them money, that they’re under no obligation to do. But I’m sure it’s somebody’s job to maximise ticket revenue and push it to whatever they think they can get away with.

There is also the problem of trying to keep the squad fresh, and winning the title, and to go deep in all the cup comps, we have won the group, we are second in the league, the idea that you can plan to win a cup competition is absurd, we could get to the final have 4/5 key injuries and have a man sent off after 5 minutes.
I read on this very forum only a month ago "Pep stop fucking about with the central defence and keep the same pairings for every game".
I mean what the fuck do they not understand about the necessity of squad rotation when we play more than 50 games per season.

SEVENTY quid for a matchday ticket in the North East corner for Spurs now. Prices like that, coupled with few new STs being released, will kill us as a fanbase as young Manchester families will be totally priced out of going regularly. You'd hope that City will continue to price games more affordably at the beginning of the season and keep Cat C games priced on earth, but that's still going to pose a problem for fans without STs who can't afford to buy all their games upfront before the season. Frightening.

Are they just bog standard tickets at £70?

No way I'll be able to afford to renew next season
Too busy paying bills

Sadly there are day trippers who will spend a fortune in the club shop. These tourists are more profitable to the club than fans who have been supporting the club for a life time.

Yes mate, 140 & 241 just had a look at, both £70 a pop for regular single adult seats dotted about for that Thursday evening game vs Spurs.
Amazing tbh, and not in a good way.

Edit. If you’re happy to go SS3 it’s only £68. Bargain innit.
