Sneijders signed a new inter contract

If you are refering to this, then it's from Oct 2010. If not, do you have a source?

I should check the dates more lol

Re: Gazzetta: Sneijder completes €36m move to City (continued)

Maybe Sneijder is simply doing the logical thing and talking to both clubs? Surely it would make sense to listen to what both us and the Rags have to say (and offer). And it's not as though the clubs are thousands of miles apart geographically. He could turn up for talks at City and when they're finished be at The Swamp in 15 minutes.

Thing is, I did receive that before I came on here and saw the twitter thing. But looking on twitter, there isn't a groundswell of coroborating evidence. Surely this would be out everywhere by now if true?

I'd be pretty surprised if City had managed to sneak him into Manchester....although there are a couple of discreet entry points into COMS which keep prying eyes out so he could certainly get into the stadium without anyone seeing...

I'm always a bit dubious though of sightings of players at training grounds/stadiums without the press having any wind of it...

I think there's much afoot behind the scenes, which could well come to very little.

On a side note....a question....Xavi, Busquets, Iniesta, Thiago, Keita, and Fabregas. Somebody is going to be a very unhappy bunny in that midfield....particularly as Thiago has just signed a new contract and been assured that he'll play much more this season.

why worry about twitter, your mate would not lie to you, unless.......
He wouldn't lie to me but would the bloke lie to him.

That's the thing. Now if my mate had seen him with his own eyes, I'd be lumping £100 on it.

As I said, I was only passing the information along and not claiming ITK status.

Now, about Iniesta coming. What price are we talking?

Billy has been alluding to Iniesta for a few weeks I think. (Or I may just read into things and see what I want to see)

If it happens I would happily pull him off. I wouldn't even care. I would surrender an afternoon to it.

I also think Billy is trying to say something, maybe his keyboard doesn't have the sufficient letters to enable him to type it.
