More like their new Veron. I don't think we'd sign both Nasri and Sneidjer, so if Nasri is in the bag then surely most people have to concede that Wes is off to the Rags. A lot of people were power wanking about him coming here, so they must be gutted about him going to the Swamp. It will be interesting to see how his missus enjoys Manchester!

That tweet is a just a quote from sam lyons who was then later shot down by howard nurse. Nobody knows where he is going for the record i think he will end up at the rags but the press pushing him towards there has been nothing short of pathetic on their part.

Sky sports are running as the main story on the website that he has had unoffical talks with united when the actual interview says there has been contacts. I have contacts with everybody, this is followed up by saying vdv thinks he would be a good fit at united when what vdv says i hope he isnt at united next season as they will be stronger.

They have twisted everything he and other people have said into him wanting to play for united and going there when there is not one direct quote of him saying he wants to go there or newhere else.

As WS has stated that he wants to join the Rags and will therefore NOT be joining City any time soon, can somebody please lock down this thread.

According to your post this thread is over, yet you still post in it. Bizarre behaviour.

As I have said before yes he is a good player but I am not overwhelmed by him he is like ibrahimovich to me he has a brilliant reputation for me but everytime i see him play im just a bit meh yeah hes good but not brilliant. For me at the moment he is the toy thats available that everyone wants without really understanding why they want him.

Creatively he could link up well with rooney or he could get in rooneys space as rooney likes to drop deep, also if he is played as part of a midfield 2, the only enforcer they have is fletcher or jones if they want to convert him to a midfield player so im not sure as a team their midfield would be creatively good but weak as a unit.

Nobody is focusing on the point that at Real Madrid he was let go for less than 15m and in 2 years his value has appreciated by nearly 20m despite him being 2 years older, now in those 2 years i appreciate that inter won the treble but last year they were awful with him in the team and also as someone else has pointed out in this thread in the last 4 seasons he has never managed more than 30 appearances, everyone is just assuming that he is gonna be amazing in this league but no guarantees either ( just as there is none with aguero ).

True that. I would rather have Nasri ATM.

Re: Gazzetta: Sneijder completes €36m move to City (continued)

Surely the Community Shield has shown that United are much stronger than most of us assumed. Couple that with the fact that they won the league easily last year without what most would consider a great squad. They have not had the financial meltdown I expected. They have not been destablized by Rooney's threats to leave. They go on and on and on. They are the devils club for sure and are going to be strong for a while yet.

We need to concentrate on ourselves for a while and accept coming second place if second place is a step in the right direction in the long term. I think this season will be tough. The most important thing for me is that we begin to "tick". I'm not sure Sneijder would be vital to us. I'm not sure who would be 'cos I am not sure why we aren't as fluid as we probably should be. At a guess though it's someone who has "vision",can pass acurately while still having pace. Sneijder is close but doesn't have the pace. Maybe Nasri and Augero are enough. And maybe if they aren't then it's not the end of the world.

I just want us to play well. Only this. Iz important.

Agree 100% - at £30M+, he will be a risky signing for whoever gets him. I think the risk is less with Aguero because he is younger and fitter (and probably hungrier), but time will tell.

Yours is a weird post. I am simply asking the Mods to lock down this thread as the topic is no longer current. I cannot do that myself.

I must have missed Wes actually signing for the rags....
