Inter pres Moratti: “There has never been any sort of negotiation for Sneijder. If Eto’o leaves then Wes will remain" Moratti: But Sneijder was untouchable even before this Eto'o discussion began. But yes, even more so now. Sneijder will stay. Moratti also responds to Inter fans over Eto'o sale: The fans were disappointed when Ibrahimovic left too. Moratti also played down link to Tevez "I don't think we will reach him in the end" but suggested Forlan/Lavezzi could be targets.from Gazzetta dello Sport
the gazette story was bollocks then?? ah well as long as the rags dont get him either i`ll be happy.

Arsenal should break the bank for him, they need a big name to replace fabregas, plus his experience would do the likes of wiltshire and ramsey the world of good

His wages would send their club into a state of chaos though when players like Van Persie demand reasonable parity, as Sneijder would earn around 2.5 times more than the next highest paid player at the club.

in which case they will fall behind very quickly unless these youngsters suddenly tranform into quality players, the board need to get with the times unless they pay the wages they will not get the best players, I can see Liverpool giving them a proper spanking this weekend

Sneijder would be a perfect signing for Arsenal - but would be a massive change of principle's for Wenger.
Unlikely.
