Snooker

Watched history tonight and Ronnie is a one off in snooker, the GOAT
just born with a pure talent and when he plays like he has in this year's world's NOBODY can live with him.
When you think he can play with both left and right-hand, It's just not fair on the rest.

I think Ronnie took the game of snooker to a level nobody can reach ? The rest are just scared of which Ronnie turns up ? Being a Genius at something must be a nightmare to handle, we have seen other genius fall by the wayside because of the mental pressure, beating yourself up when you slip below the normal levels of the day to day run-of-the-mill life of being human, just having to preform all the time must hurt mentally for Ronnie, people think he turns up and its game over hahaha, if only

Ronnie o'sullivan the GOAT

Ronnie obviously has mental health issues. To achieve what he has done is remarkable, and I applaud him. An outstanding career, I hope he wins another.
I didn't realise he's joint oldest with reardon to have won this, Ronnie still looks young in comparison.
He's capable of winning more, I hope he does, he deserves it

Yep, he's got another one in him, I think
it's just a joy to watch Ronnie in full flow, make's it look so, so easy poetry in motion

Agreed.
It's up to him really I think. Whether he wants it or not. He says he's not bothered about records, or even winning, and I believe him. I do know he practices more than most pros, always has done. This is classic textbook behaviour.
On the outside you appear not arsed, but privately, inwardly, you're battling with yourself.
Look at the gaps between his world champs wins. That's not Ronnie being shit, that's Ronnie being ill.

With you here. A total artist with a god given gift, the only person to beat Ronnie is himself.

As a kid I remember sitting down on the living room floor watching the infamous 147 on a tiny square set top box that I had to hit the side of as the picture would go in and out. That frame was so fast the tv held up which was a miracle in itself. I’ll never forget where I was and I’ll never not love watching the guy play as long as he decides to do so.

You are right about the weight of talent being too much for some to carry, it’s nearly taken him out a few times, but watching that tonight, at 46 years old, his talent is still untouchable. Trump looked awestruck by what he witnessed at times and the frightening thing is, Ronnie could have played even better but never really needed to.

I managed to get a ticket for next years semi final and I hope I get the chance to see him play at the crucible then.

John Parrot summed it up for me when he said that Ronnie at his best is a level above any snooker player who ever played the game.
