I can never predict this tournament, had Allen down as potential champion but both players played superbly tonight, great game. Happy for Bingham too to get through.

From my pov Mark Allen bottled that match, but well done to Higgins for capitalising on his mistakes in the match.

I reckon that 12th frame of Higgins v Allen is the best I've ever seen. Incredibly tense, based on safety, brilliant potting to win it. Better than those frames over in 5 minutes with a big break.

Saw a session at the Crucible last week, Bingham looked good, great venue and beer half the price of the Co-op !
