In all fairness the blame can't be placed all on the club.
The authorities would play a major role in determining whether it takes place.

Then the authorities should get their fingers out and plan ahead surely? There is no way tomorrow's game should even be delayed let alone postponed.

FFS there is more to determining whether a game goes ahead than underground heating and a bit of grit spreading...

I'll be surprised if the game doesn't go ahead, the snow should stop soon (if it hasn't already turned to rain, before stopping), it gives the staff if they have been called in, plenty of time to organise things, by midday tomorrow the temperature should be about 5C, and the sun out.

Like what?

Met Office forecast says temperatures in Stoke set to be 1 or 2 degrees above freezing and no more snow. Therefore only problem could be clearance of existing snow or excess water. Got to leave at 6:30 for this so hope my confidence is not misplaced.

Like will the trains be running? Like will the roads around the country be safe enough to drive on?, believe it or not City fans travel from all over the country, like can you get your car off your drive?

Since when did we all move to Canada or the deepest depths of Russia? So typically British!

A bit of snow causes so much drama!

I am clearly banging my head against a brick wall here, Canada as a country are well equipped to deal with the conditions as their climate is typically predictable and all drivers have snow tyres, they also have much better snow clearing equipment/machines.
