Snow

coldest ground in the country, or it felt like it. And i lived in Buxton for a while when it was totally isolated by ten foot drifts....
It's the wind chill, it's bitter :-(
A former poster on here lived/lives in Buxton. He used to tell us how bad it could get.

Snow over here is like a bit of dandruff falling unlike the proper stuff you get in idah, mate. No doubt an inch or two will be all over the news because people cant cope. Fannies.

We were 'supposed' to get between 8cm to 12cm of snow in North Powys this morning. Schools were closed as buses etc were cancelled, and Arsebook etc was full of impending doom.

It didn't snow at all. Just a drizzly day... what I usually refer to as a normal Manchester morning. Exactly what I expected.

The Met Office isn't fit for purpose imo and the UK media serves no purpose other than to spread panic amongst the permanently hysterical, gullible 90% of our population.

I hope it snows that much there because it'll mean the poor sheep will get a bit of rest from being bummed by certain Welsh men.

I suspect Met Office et al give a worst case scenario forecast to cover potential legal action if they underestimate snow, wind, rain intensity etc.
