So they were provoked...if it was us we would get a fine and possibly points deducted for chucking stuff and knocking a steward spark out.

If FA ban Adebayor for the celebration... they are basically saying we should of had a riot when RVP had his, as we could say he provoked us, silly it may sound... but true:)

Im gutted we didnt act like animals and try to "stab" Van Persie. Maybe the media would of took notice then

A club can't seriously be expected to 'control' their own fans at an away ground. There is no physical way in which Arsenal could have prevented their fans doing that.
However, Ian Watmore from the FA said "I thought the stewards did a great job of calming the situation down and it was to Manchester City's credit nothing worse happened".

the only bad thing about Adebayors celebration was the reaction from the Arsenal fans. At least 3 'missiles' thrown at him and more than one steward given a crack. Adebayor is NOT responsible for their actions.
Next time the away fans try to get on the pitch and attack one of our players i'd like to see the whole team pile into 'em a dish out a good twatting.

I don't think that'd be that easy, the thing that stopped them was the advertising boards! They're actually quite big close up and it seemed like that was the thing that stopped a pitch invasion!
