So do the Arsenal fans get away with their behaviour then?

So is Van Persie coming in our direction telling us to fuck off, when he had his own fans at the other side of the goal incitement too?

Are the FA investigating that yet & sending individuals out on national radio to say how "disappointed" they are in his behaviour, before the said investigation has even got under way?

Adebayor goes up a notch in my mind for that celebration, not down!

And so what if its OTT - its a football match, not bloody tiddly-winks!

God, this is getting dull!!!

Mate, ade hasnt gone down in my estimation for this at all, just saying it is incitement. Thats plain as day. Good on him I say for giving it back, but a yellow card was justified. End of story.

The Van Persie celebration is not comparable and i doubt you really think it is.

Why not?Because our fans didn't react the way that aresnholes did?
Dickov,Rooney...there's loads of twttish players who've ran to our fans and give it the big one after scoring....I don't remember anyone running from ten rows back to throw stuff at them?
The arse fans were a disgrace yesterday-they spent more time shouting abuse at Ade than they did backing their own team...they revved themsleves into a pathetic, foaming frenzy. That behaviour was as much about not them being able to cope with the fact that their team got whupped as it was about Ade.Bad losers-they really can't handle ickkle City beating them-it brings home the reality that they are no longer "the invincibles."

Still- at least they mad a noise for once.

You and most blues would have done the same had it been Dunne. Ade was out of line for doing that, I thought that half way through his run.

Without going into the rights or wrongs of what Ade did I don't think Dunnie would have done something like that because a) our fans have never &, I am convinced would never, issue the insults that Arsenal fans have been doing against Ade in the press and verbally, and b) Dunnie has more class. (no insult to Ade intended there, just my humble opinion so please don't get uptight about it ok??)

p.s. personally I thought his run up the pitch was worthy of Usain Bolt, maybe we should sort out a race for the two of them! :-)

Come on mate. As you have said you have seen Dickov, Rooney etc do it on several occasions. How many times have you seen a player run the full length of the pitch to celebrate in front of the opposition fans - i can't recall any. So thats why it isnt comparable.

I'm not excusing the arsenal fans in any way. I am not saying the fa need to take any further action or anything. All i am saying is ade celebration deserved a yellow. end of the matter.

Adebayor getting the blame for it all then... we should have had a riot then when RVP had his celebration, seems the only way to make sure the players gets punished.

Not like The Sun to engage in a touch of sensationalism is it!

I'm waiting for them to call for a march!

That's a good point about dickov and rooney actually. Also, Rooney did his 'cupped ears' celebration to the kop when he scored at anfield and the scousers didn't riot.

(although I hear they had a memorial built)

The Arsenal fans pile forward from half way up the stand in the youtube vids. Once play continues they look up for a ruck with the police then. All the press people start photgraphing the Arse fans under police instruction so they can identify them. A few will get banning orders. There was a back guy in a cap throwing plenty of punches about 5 mins after the goal.

Im gutted we didnt act like animals and try to "stab" Van Persie. Maybe the media would of took notice then
If RVP had done it at 111/110 then there would have been a reaction. Nothing would have been said though. phil neville last season anyone?

Yeah I remember Dickov (my hero still) twice winding me up ...once with Leicester and with Blackburn too.

I didn't throw anything though...not once.
