So......How does this rank?

I posted before kick off that I really didn't need anymore grief. All I asked was for a couple of early goals and let's give the scouse turds grief. No, never happens. My 85 year old dad, who is to blame for my years of sheer fucking torture, proudly said "that's not the City way" We have never done owt the easy way throughout history. We had a chance of a never done 100 premier league points a few years ago, and of course the goal came in stoppage time. Everyone knows of the other major anxieties. I have had 50 odd seasons of watching God's Own persecute their wonderful fanbase, the youngsters on here have never had it so good. Wouldn't have it any other way NOT.

Turns out 0-2 is a dangerous score line.

He won't get any credit for it - and it may be recency bias on my account - but that might be Pep's greatest achievement yet.

No out and out striker, our team's skittish mentality, juggling a shattered back four, 0-2 down and still held off the challenge of the best forward line in the world™.

I was thinking about this last night, whilst thoroughly enjoying the celebrations and comments on here.....

I'll never be in a position to understand what you as a club have achieved in the last decade or so.....so I'll ask you guys and girls the question....

As far as winning the league was concerned....where did this one rank?

You've had the 100 points....twice pipped Liverpool to the line....and wasn't there an injury time winner in the past...much celebrated at my home ground.....????

Was yesterday the best....? Is there more pressure to win as it is to a degree expected?

Or...being blues and your history of ups and downs...do you literally just take each glory as it comes......
Football didn’t seem real when we couldn’t go during the lockdowns, and I didn’t really care about winning the Prem and EFL Cup and didn’t really care about losing the CL final. It was all just like watching training games. That’s easily bottom of the pile.

As for the others, I’d go:
5. 2014 run-in with Liverpool
4. 2019 14 straight wins to win the title
3. Last kick of the season to become the one and only ever Centurions (plus some of the football we played that season was the closest to Pep or Enrique’s Barça teams there’s ever been)
2. Coming from 0-2 down to win 3-2 in five crazy minutes
1. 93:20

Yep - of the six we’ve won in my lifetime, this one was second only to the first in 2012.

The fact it was the first, and the way we won it literally right at the end, means it will never be beaten for me.

But this one ran it closer than any.

I mean - they’re all incredible, and I cherish every single one of them, but none of the rest had the same level of jeopardy involved.

When all your hope is dying by the minute, and the stark reality of your rival brutally snatching whats rightfully yours away from you is staring you square in the face. And then - through some mad, chaotic, alchemic spirit - you manage to steal it right back from under their noses at the death, through a wild force of character that simply never knows when it’s beaten. Those are the sweetest ones of all!

93.20 will never be topped then I'd have the quad season then this season would be third.
The reason for that is because we had no recognised no 9, a defensive injury crisis at the tail end and having to save the world from the dippers doing the quad in the last game.
All the more for having this season as number one surely ?
