So......How does this rank?

Obviously 2012 was the best, yesterday was the 2nd best title win for me. I was relatively sober and knew exactly what we needed to do and what was happening. I knew Liverpool would win anyway so from despair to absolute joy on 81 mins was just sensational. I was jumping about like a total idiot when the 3rd when in and at full time.

Obviously 100 points and domestic treble were better achievements but the euphoria of yesterday was the 2nd greatest Premier League winning game of any side… and we also have top spot ha!

I was thinking about this last night, whilst thoroughly enjoying the celebrations and comments on here.....

I'll never be in a position to understand what you as a club have achieved in the last decade or so.....so I'll ask you guys and girls the question....

As far as winning the league was concerned....where did this one rank?

You've had the 100 points....twice pipped Liverpool to the line....and wasn't there an injury time winner in the past...much celebrated at my home ground.....????

Was yesterday the best....? Is there more pressure to win as it is to a degree expected?

Or...being blues and your history of ups and downs...do you literally just take each glory as it comes......
Honestly mate, we could win our 21st league title with Phil Foden scoring a last minute winner against United, while riding a Harley Davidson, dressed as Spider-Man, and it would still not eclipse 2012.

Nothing ever could, or ever will.

But yesterday was 2nd best to that.

Depends what we're judging, the whole season or the manner of the win.

If its just yesterday's game and how winning it panned out it's third for me. aguero tops everything always obviously, then Jesus 100 points was special, that was the last kick of the game too and if you were in that away end you'll know how mental it went. Refusing to leave until the players came back out to celebrate after Southampton had their end of season appreciation lap which they didn't want to allow to happen but had to to get us out, it was a special day to celebrate a very special achievement that's still not given the credit it warrants. Yesterday was special but it sits just below those 2.

If we're going off the entire season as an achievement it ranks pretty low for me, "just" the league (I know how crazy it is to say that) means I can't rank it higher than any of our other title winning seasons as we've always picked up additional silverware with the league after 93.20

Said this in another thread.

QPR we needed to score 2 against a piss poor side with 10 men.

Yesterday against much better opposition we needed to score 3 against 11 men with no proper striker. Added to the fact that the first 70 minutes was our worst 70 minutes of the season yesterday tops it for me.

The best one yet, and I was there in 2012. For me yesterday, it was just immense. Weeks and weeks and weeks of absolute fucking bastard frustration let out in 6 minutes.

The reason it feels so special is because it stopped the dipper loving media blowing quadruple smoke up their giddy arses.

I found it disrespectful (to us) because for most of it we have been top and in control of our own destiny yet the quad was mentioned non stop. Fuck 'em.

From an outside perspective I think this title is the biggest achievement of them all. With the other 5 titles you had the best team on paper, I feel Liverpool are better on paper than City atm. This year proved you could go toe to toe with another incredible team and retain the league.
